Naming the business after their family name and coincidentally, can also translate to eye, the logo and art direction revolved around with lots of eyes and funny characters. They dream for the café to be not just a usual hang out place but a home for the creative folks in Naga City.

Viva La Manika

Established in 2011, Viva La Manika has built enough audience and credibility for their creativity and uniqueness. Last 2019, the founders decided to give their brand a facelift. One of the co-owners, Sofia Cope, tasked me to design this as there’s no settled identity to identify the brand with. I learned their history, and how the brand grew throughout the years. I made custom illustrations to encapsulate VLM at its core—elegance, grace, and a quiet confidence.
